The Top 5 Places To Watch The Women’s Euro 2022 Championships In London This July

The UEFA Women’s Euro 2022 championships kicks off today, the tournament is set to be held in England for the first time since 2005.

For those eager to support The Lionesses or any of the other 15 teams, Addison Lee have looked at some of the best spots in London to watch the tournament throughout July.

1) BOXPARK

The place to be during last year’s men’s tournament, all three locations (Croydon, Shoreditch & Wembley) will be live streaming the event throughout July. To avoid disappointment, it’s best to book your tickets online asap as all three BOXPARK locations are in-demand places to be, particularly during the summer.

2) Truman’s Social Club

There’s nothing quite like watching the match with your mates in a big crowd! Truman’s Social Club boasts the UK largest beer hall and will be showing all the games, with an excellent range of food & drink on offer and a spacious outdoor area. It’s part of Walthamstow’s Beer Mile with some of London’s best breweries right on the doorstep

3) Clissold Park Tavern

If you’re looking for a lively place to watch the match, Clissold Park Tavern, in Stoke Newington is the perfect spot for you to watch the games this July. With pizza, beer and cocktails alongside a large weatherproof beer garden, Clissold Park Tavern is ideal for watching the match come rain or sunshine.

4) Trafalgar Square

In the final week of the tournament (23rd- 31st July), Trafalgar Square will be hosting a free fan party, where people of all ages can come together and watch the event. The party includes live streaming matches, a popup football pitch, food & drink stalls, live panels being hosted, and more!

5) Brentford Community Stadium

London is one of the nine cities hosting the matches this year, with the final being held at the iconic Wembley Stadium, but due to significant demand, these have now sold out. However, this does not dash your chances of watching the Euros live in London, as Brentford Community Stadium is hosting four tournament games with available tickets. The first match being played at the stadium is on Friday the 8th between Germany and Denmark, with the final match being the quarter finals on Thursday 21st of July.
